Prior to law school, Courtney worked full time as an analyst. For nearly a decade, she shaped and defined policies and procedures, developed and compiled metrics and reports, provided training and education, identified and initiated process efficiencies and cross-team consistency, and ensured compliance with governmental and contractual requirements.
Courtney earned her law degree from University of Denver – Sturm College of Law, where she was a Sturm Law Scholar, Technical Editor for The Transportation Law Journal, and participated in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Some of her coursework included Corporate Drafting, Privacy Law, Corporations, and Compliance. After law school, Courtney worked first as a clerk and then an associate at a boutique construction law firm. She now pairs this experience with her analyst background to help clients navigate complex legal challenges and achieve their business objectives.
Outside of her legal practice and professional groups, Courtney enjoys technology and organization, film and tv, writing and reading, and animals. She has three rescue dogs and a cat while her husband has seven “rescue” cars, five of which he saved from junkyards.
